Senior Consultant – Internal Medicine
Dr. Gurwinder Singh Virk
I am a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine with over a decade of experience across tertiary hospitals, telemedicine platforms, and rural healthcare systems. My practice is guided by a patient-first philosophy, combining clinical expertise with a compassionate and holistic approach to care.
After completing my MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine, I trained in the Cardiology Department at Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, where I gained invaluable experience in managing cardiac emergencies. I later worked with the Piramal Group’s telemedicine initiative in Solan, helping deliver quality healthcare to underserved populations through digital platforms.
Motivated to serve at the grassroots, I established a private practice in Mansa, Punjab, where I managed the only 24×7 emergency facility for more than 300 villages and led the setup of a 12-bed COVID Care Centre during the pandemic.
Since 2022, I have been practicing at Satguru Partap Singh (SPS) Hospital, Ludhiana, as Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine, managing complex cases with a strong focus on accurate diagnosis and evidence-based treatment.

Dr. Gurwinder Singh Virk is a highly dedicated and experienced physician specializing in Internal Medicine, with a strong background in emergency care, telemedicine, and rural healthcare. With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Virk has demonstrated exceptional commitment to patient care, both in tertiary care hospitals and underserved rural settings.
He completed his MBBS from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2012, followed by an MD in Medicine from the University of Buckingham, UK. After completing his postgraduate training, he returned to India and joined the Cardiology Department at Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, where he gained significant experience managing cardiac emergencies under the supervision of senior specialists.
Subsequently, Dr. Virk worked with the Piramal Group in Solan as a Consultant in Telemedicine, where he contributed to expanding access to quality healthcare through digital platforms.
